Summary: I was looking forward to staying at this hotel. By the description, I expected a rustic lodge with a higher end flare, and it did not disappoint. It was nestled amongst large trees alongside a busy road. However, the buildings do not have locking outer doors and the lighting is low (most likely to enhance the “forest” feel). Unfortunately, someone was able to break into my room and took all the cash from my wallet in less than an hour of me leaving the room for a short evening walk. I have never had this happen before and I travel a lot. Luckily it was only the cash and not the electronics, cameras, etc. Lesson learned - never leave your valuables alone in the room no matter how much you pay for the room. I won’t be going back to this hotel.
